A thousand times welcome, people from the North, South, East and West, for you have found the reformed gateways that were too long but frames standing empty in the Outer Lands. Long have the Guild Masters toiled to make the path to the Halls of Knowledge and Magic safe for you once more. We bid you enter! And reclaim your comfy chair at the Tavern. Throw off your well-used socks (for we now have a resident sock-wight who rejoices in collecting and laundering smelly foot apparel) and let us regale each other with story and song of our exploits in the Outer Lands.

Welcome back to Elda Nórë. We apologise for the extended blackout; it was much longer than anticipated. We were unable to rectify the problems caused by the bug in the old forum software and have had to build the forum anew. Hopefully you will find our new home much more stable and just as much fun as our last home. Your work that was posted in the old forum is not lost forever—fear not! Namíra has been appointed Keeper of the Hall of Records. In the Archive Guild section you may correspond with her and request works you have authored to be retrieved. Please see the Administration Guild section for further announcements and house-keeping business. And go have some fun...we are glad to see you back!

Let it be known that all staff positions are vacant. This is because of two reasons: we are starting afresh on a new board, and the process of filling moderator positions was actually something that was going to happen at the old forum, before the blackout, due to staff member inactivity.

I would like to fill junior admin and moderator positions in the following areas:

• Guild of Communal Ties - oversees Welcomes & Introductions, Tavern (Child board: World Activism).
• Guild of Writers – oversees Guild of Writers (Child boards: Author Discussion, Need Help With Your Writing).
• Guild of Artists – oversees Original Artwork and Art Guild (Child boards: Art Central, Digital & Graphic Art).
• Guild of Creativity – oversees Fan Fiction, Original Lyrics & Compositions, Poetry, Original Stories.
• Guild of Languages – oversees Languages of Writing and the World, Languages of Myth and Lore.
• Mythical Worlds Guild - oversees Mythical Worlds and Realms.

Junior admins (Guild Council Members) will lead the group of moderators (Guild Members) in their guild and may also moderate an individual forum. Junior admin positions are open to past moderators of Elda Nórë.

Moderators will moderate individual forums. Moderator positions are open to past members of Elda Nórë who have registered here.

Staff members from the old forum must reapply for these positions, they will not automatically be granted mod status. New members, don’t be discouraged—if there is an area you are passionate about, and you would like to be involved with the running of this site, here’s what to do: register, talk to us—let us get to know you and your interests, and be patient.

We want people who can make a regular time commitment to the site and who are interested in contributing creatively to help this site get better and better.

We are not in a rush to fill these positions straight away. We want the right people for the job and if some positions go unfilled for a little while, so be it. In the meantime the Guild Masters will be the divine powers in each forum.

We have recently discovered a large bug in our forum software and are currently working hard to resolve this issue. We are hoping it will take less than twenty-four hours, but have not yet been able to determine exactly why the bug occured. For now, all information is safe, and we still have access to all of the forum threads and user accounts data. As soon as the forum is restored, we will send out an announcement from the forum. For the time being, if you are suffering from withdrawls, you may feel free to sign up at Namíra’s personal forum sh’s building, which is nowhere near completion, and use that forum till full power is restored. Greetings to everyone from Elda Nðré. Three years ago, I began Elda Nðré as an attempt to establish a unique website in the online world where people could gather together in friendship, growth, and temporary insanity lapses. For three years, Elda Nðré was my world, and brought out the best in me.

Recently my life has taken a different path. I have decided to hand over the reigns of Elda Nðré to the lady Tinúviel. She comes to Elda Nðré from L.E.A.F and the lands of Eldalondë. She has a great talent for languages, a compassionate heart, and a crazy sense of humor.

I want to everyone for all the laughs, support, and friendship over the last three years. I will still lurk occasionally, and look forward to keeping in touch.

It is my sad duty to inform everyone that Elves of Camelot publishing is no more. Thank you to all the authors and artists who submitted, to Eluso Licanu for all her help, and to the clients who made it all possible. Starting on 14 July, the company is not longer producing magazines. For those clients who have paid for a subscription, you will have your money fully refunded in the next 6-8 weeks.
